Put On Your Cape

True heroism is remarkably sober, very undramatic. It is not the urge to surpass all others at whatever cost, but the urge to serve others at whatever cost.
— Arthur Ashe

And just like that, everything returns to normal. No more breakfast in bed, sweet cards, or homemade gifts. Now, it is back to piles of laundry, last minute homework projects, soccer games followed by ballet practice, and the everyday chaos that moms call life.  Mother's Day has passed and, once again, her continual sacrifices will go unnoticed.

In all my years of fitness training, it is the mothers who truly amaze me. They wear so many different hats throughout the day. They are the taxi driver, the chef, the doctor, the teacher, the maid, the friend....and somehow in all of this, they manage to squeeze in the time to stay in shape and be a healthy role model for their kids! Incredible.

It is time you are recognized for all your hard work and superhuman abilities! So, to all of our MAX Training moms, we say THANK YOU! You should be honored each and every day! Take off all your hats and clothe yourself in what you so rightfully deserve...put on your cape.

I asked a few of the Supermoms at our gym to choose this week's workouts. Here are a few of their favorites!

"Ball Burpee Battle"

"Pumped Up"

"Fit 50"

"Roller Coaster"
