Do It Well

If a job is worth doing, it’s worth doing well.
— Proverb

Yesterday, I had a little breakdown. Okay, it was kind of a big breakdown. I had an agenda nearly a mile long, full of things that needed to be done, some probably should have been done yesterday. Throughout the day,  I hurriedly went through the list, trying to check off as many as possible. Instead of feeling accomplished each time I checked an item off,  I just felt rushed. How horrible it feels to not give your best, especially when something deserves your best.

So there I was, stretched too thin, realizing I would never get everything done, and definitely wouldn't get it done well. That is when my superhero flew in! Steve is my motivational hero and my rock when things in my life seem unsteady. He sat me down and reminded me of the Proverb above- "If a job is worth doing, it's worth doing well."

So things might be late or put on hold, but they will be done well. They are worth it. Keep that in mind as you finish up this week.  Don't do the minimum, for that is all you will get out of it. Remember- you GET what you GIVE!

If you find yourself strapped for time, here is a great workout that only takes 18 minutes!
